🔔 𝗔𝗜 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘: 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗰 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗗𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸
Anthropic, the creator of Claude, has been busy. This week they dropped a smarter model, launched a brand new visual design tool, and quietly revealed they're sitting on an AI so powerful they decided not to release it to the public. Let me break it all down.

𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝗢𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝟰.𝟳: 𝗔 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗲
Using Claude? Well, the Claude you use every day just got a meaningful upgrade. Opus 4.7 launched April 16 and is now available across all Claude products including Claude.ai and Cowork.
It handles complex, multi-step tasks with better accuracy, sees images at significantly higher resolution than before, and follows detailed instructions with more precision.
𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶: If you use Claude to build out offers, write content, create digital products, or work through business decisions, expect outputs that feel more on-point with less back-and-forth to get there.

𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻: 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗕𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗿
This is the one worth paying close attention to. Claude Design launched April 17 and it does exactly what the name suggests: you describe what you want visually, and Claude builds it.
Pitch decks. Lead magnet covers. Product mockups. Instagram Carousels. One-pagers. Workshop presentations. You start with a text description (or upload an existing doc or image), Claude creates a designed version, and you refine it through conversation until it looks right. No Canva learning curve. No layout guesswork. Just describe it, iterate, and export.
It picks up your brand colors and fonts if you give it access to your files, and when you're done you can export to PDF, PPTX, or straight into Canva where it becomes fully editable.
Currently in research preview on Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans. If you have one these plans, be aware that it does track token usage separately...and it seems to eat through them FAST.
𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶: That "I know what I want it to look like, I just can't make it look that way" problem just got a real solution. Digital product mockups, course graphics, offer pages, workshop slides. This is the tool a lot of us have been waiting for without knowing it existed yet.

𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝗠𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗜 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗪𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗬𝗼𝘂
This one is different. Anthropic revealed a new model called Mythos Preview and then immediately locked it away. You cannot use it. Neither can almost anyone else.
Here's why: Mythos is so capable at finding and exploiting security vulnerabilities in software that Anthropic decided a public release was too risky. Instead, they created something called Project Glasswing and gave access to roughly 50 large organizations, including Apple, Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and JPMorgan Chase, specifically for cybersecurity research. Mozilla has already used it to patch 271 software vulnerabilities.
𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶: Nothing practical right now. But it tells you something important about where this technology is heading: AI capability is accelerating faster than most people realize, and even the companies building it are being deliberate about what they release and when. That context matters when you're building a business around these tools.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗺 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗲
Opus 4.7 makes your current Claude workflow better immediately, no action required. Claude Design opens up a whole category of visual work that used to require a designer or hours in Canva. And Mythos, even locked away, is a signal that the pace of this technology is not slowing down.
