[Start Here] Welcome to the Bootstrapped Founder
Hey 👋, Welcome to the tribe! My intro...
I'm 👤 Sharif York – Interaction Designer | Creative Director | A real person and Founder of The Bootstrapped Founder. I’ve watched AI erase busywork and, sometimes, real roles. I’m not here to cheer that on. I started The Bootstrapped Founder because I believe people should win with technology—not lose to it. This is a human-first space where we turn AI into leverage: clearer strategies, faster builds, repeatable income. You’ll learn how to use AI and modern tools as assistants, not replacements—so you can launch products, automate the boring parts, and protect (and grow) your value. Learn high-end profitable ways to win in tech. My story... Started in 3D animation and game development at age 14, earning my first $1,400 check from a Swedish client. The sky was the limit. I taught myself 3D, game development, code, and 3D interaction design at a young age then started making money from it. Fast forward into the future, I've helped design the apps for major brands including AT&T, DIRECTV, ADT, LTK, Bolt.com, Kroger app redesign, and Comcast (Xfinity app). Most recently I helped curate 3D animation content for a baggage drop & passport / I.D scan kiosk for United airlines. I even helped craft motion design systems for 2 of the biggest dating apps in the world (JACK & Scruff). From my own startups, I've personally built and launched innovative tools like Pelagoso.com that is the best AI platform for animal and plant care, and launched Yglot.app, a language learning platform designed to support both learners and content creators. Pitching to investors across international markets including Marcus Dantus from Shark Tank Mexico, and venture capitalists in Portugal. Check out my reel below ⬇️ https://vimeo.com/1115598966 “Lover of clean design, caramel-heavy coffee, and helping people stop watching from the sidelines.” sharifyo.com 🧭 What’s next?
