Challenge: Bar Hang//Skill level: ALL//Equipment needed: Some kind of bar and a watch/stopwatch
Since some of us are just starting our journeys (or just restarting), and some of us are well on the way, I thought it would be fun to have a challenge everyone can do. If we repeat it periodically, we can track our personal progress.
The challenge: Bar Hang. Inspired by a game show, Physical: 100, find a bar and hang on it for as long as you can.
In order to make this first physical challenge as inclusive as possible, I'm calling any bar that can hold your weight acceptable, be it a high bar, monkey bar, chin-up bar, or tree branch. Don't have a gym? Find something in the great outdoors! This is not limited to hands; that's another challenge for another day! If you can hang from it, it counts, and you can shift position.
Other details: You can have an assist to get onto the bar.
Please be safe. You are in charge of your personal safety.
Proposal: We do this when we join the group, and then once a year thereafter. You can do this privately, or make a video to share!
