Let me tell you a hard truth: Your kids don’t care about your profit margins. They care about your presence.

When I was scaling Action Plumbing, it was easy to get consumed by the chaos. The phone never stopped ringing. But I realized that if I built a $100M empire and lost my family in the process, I didn’t build anything at all. I just failed with a bigger bank account.
