Common factors with most successful copywriters?
👉 Question:
From @the_real_copywriter_74973 “Yo Tyson, there's a question I've been thinking about for a long time, What are the common factors that exist in every copywriter who landed clients?”
👉 Answer:
Good question, and not one that gets asked enough.
Here are the key things I see in the most successful copywriters.
1️⃣ They follow a proven framework that has generated success countless times
2️⃣ The nail the foundations of what makes copy good (before looking at the harder stuff)
3️⃣ They’re so damn consistent and never miss a day. This means failure is never an option.
4️⃣ Their social media profiles are optimized and position them as professionals.
That’s basically it, but all 4 work hand in hand.
There is no point being consistent if you’re doing something every day that doesn’t work…
… Hence why the proven framework is important.
Advanced copywriting techniques don’t translate well if the foundations aren’t rock solid.
You need to have a deep understanding of your target audience, persuasion, storytelling, grabbing and holding attention, positioning, taking action as a logical step, etc…
And well, if you do your outreaches, and copy practice for 2 days, then have 3 days off, grind another day, miss 4 more days…
… you won’t make it.
Grinding daily is what has proven to give results.
Outreaches, writing copy, getting your copy reviewed, etc…
Not to mention, if you’re outreaching and your account looks like trash, clients will just scroll past.
But some of these guys have had to go months without clients.
Just them working hard, battling through.
Then one day… BOOM… everything falls into place, and they look like an overnight success.
The people who win are the ones pulling out all of the stops to create their own luck and stack success in their favor.
If you want to compete with them, you need to get on their level.
It can take some time, but trust me, it’ll be worth it. 💪
