3 Lightning-Fast Tips To Instantly Improve Your Copy
๐Ÿ‘‰ Question:
From @AJ_0901 - "I need help with my copy. I reviewed it by someone else and he said that : Overall, I need a lot of improvement.
Start with sticking to an angle, throughout the email.
Write super relatable, real pain points of people.
Learn structures properly, and improve the overall readability of my copy."
๐Ÿ‘‰ Answer:
Ok, let's break down how to improve upon each one of those points made.
1.Start with sticking to an angle, throughout the email.
An idea is exactly that; an idea.
An angle is the specific way you present that idea.
Your email should have just 1 main angle and not deviate from it. Don't write about 2 completely different angles.
2.Write super relatable, real pain points of people.
This really just comes from research.
Let me give you an example in weight loss:
"It's hard to lose weight" is a terrible pain point. Sure, it's true, but the imagery can be much better.
Explain how that makes them feel or their actual actions. Example: "Every time you go to the pool, you wear a swim shirt b/c you're afraid of what people will think."
3.Learn structures properly, and improve the overall readability of my copy.
Keep your average sentence length at 8 words.
If your average line is longer than that, try your best to shorten or reword it.
