11 plus revision- how’s it going?

How many of you have heard this before, "It's only three months away. Just get some practice papers and start revising."

Here's what that actually sounds like to your child: "Sit down. Stay there. Do more worksheets."

And here's what that does. Creates resistance. Tears. Resentment. And, ironically, less effective learning.
