The "Market" Adding more weekly Expirations
Monday, something happens that changes everything. Zero DTE options are expanding into individual equities.
TSLA. NVDA. AAPL. AMZN. META. MSFT. GOOGL. AVGO. IBIT.
All of them are getting Monday, Wednesday, and Friday expirations.
Here's why this matters:
When zero DTE launched in the SPX and SPY, it didn't just give us more contracts to trade.
It fundamentally changed how those products move.
Daily gamma exposure became the dominant force.
Expected moves compressed on shorter timeframes.
Intraday volatility shifted.
NVIDIA, for example, already trades ~2.3 million option contracts a day.
When they add two more weekly expirations?
That number is going to explode.
The gamma risk is going to dominate the price action.
And if you don't understand how to position around it, you're going to be trading blind.
GEXTRON may have to take this in consideration somehow?
