This is a classic old-world remedy for lingering winter congestion or spring allergies. Radishes are natural decongestants, and thyme is a good antiseptic. I like to use items in my garden. I have thyme and the radishes started popping up!
The Remedy: Radish Syrup.
How to do it: Grate 2–3 fresh radishes and mix them with 2 tablespoons of raw honey and a few sprigs of fresh garden thyme. Let it sit for 2 hours until a liquid syrup forms.
Make tea: Let your tea (peppermint or ginger work) cool down for about 3–5 minutes so it’s "warm" rather than hot, then stir in your garden syrup.
