Love seeing the outrigger community growing in the desert! 🌵 I'm also loving all the dragon boat X outrigger crossover. There's so much history behind both sports.
Huge mahalo to everyone who came out to work on their outrigger teknique! From change drill, using the force, rock the boat drill, brace drill, touch the water, seat pulls, ladder drill, push and squeeze, and flying the ama, your focus and dedication to improvement was inspiring. 🛶 Remember: patience at the catch, then accelerate through that finish! 💪
It's been wonderful watching the outrigger community in Arizona grow. Each club (both outrigger and dragon boat) have been paving the way to encourage more canoe owners. Whether you're a complete beginner or experienced paddler looking for a new challenge, the outrigger community is incredibly welcoming!
