Apex Paddle Erg Cup
I competed this weekend at the annual Afterburn Apex Paddle Erg Cup which is (as far as I know) the biggest perg competition in Canada. It was a long day but I did four individual events: a 500m heat and final and a 200m heat and final. Then my pod (4 men) did two team events. The first was 4 minutes max distance with one person on perg and one person on rowing erg with a forced alternation every minute. The second was a 2 km relay race on perg.
All in all, I placed 24/73 on the 500m overall and 38/73 on the 200m overall. My pod placed 2nd in the open category with point accumulated across the individual and team events.
