Dark Night of The Soul
If you’re on a serious spiritual journey, you will most likely encounter the ‘dark night of the soul’ at some point. What this refers to is a period where you feel completely out of touch with spirit and oftentimes is accompanied by profound despair. I’ve actually gone through multiple such periods. I’m diagnosed shizoaffective (manic type), and during what is labelled ‘mania’, I have countless spiritual insights and have a high ‘vibration’, but then when I go through depression, it has been extremely deep, to the point where I literally didn’t feel a single emotion for a good while. There were other things causing despair though, such as very foreboding dreams, and my physical health was suffering majorly, to the point where I thought I may die any time soon. I have now emerged from the last dark night and feel better than ever — at peace at last. If anyone has any questions they’d like to ask about my experience, feel free. And I hope this can give anyone struggling some hope that things can and will get better. Patience is an underrated virtue, so hang in there :)

Quantum Immortality
A lesser-known idea that emerged from the sciences states that it’s actually impossible to ‘die’ in the ordinary sense, since consciousness from the first-person perspective can’t be extinguished so to speak. It is an extremely interesting theory. The main thing that makes me doubt it, however, is thinking about old-age, and how that would work if consciousness residing in the one body is ever-lasting. Like would an old and sick person in the hospital just constantly be kept alive as their body deteriorate more and more to the point where they’re barely conscious yet marginally so? Scary thought, but it’s certainly an interesting — yet fringe — idea that provokes thought even if it’s not true.
My Take on Law of Attraction
The Law of Attraction is true, but the way most people understand and implement it is faulty in my opinion. The way a lot of people look at manifestation is they want something (usually material in nature e.g a car or a girlfriend etc.) and then they try to focus their thoughts on this ‘object’ that is desired. This may work, and the object of desire may be attained, but because of human nature, we always want more and what we don’t have, so inevitably, unless the person has attained permanent peace, this object will not bring satisfaction for long, and another object of desire will emerge in that person’s mind that they will feel somewhat obliged to manifest. I view Law of Attraction in terms of feeling or state of consciousness. Ultimately I want to feel good or be happy, as I think everyone does, so I cut out the middle-man, so to speak, and have my ‘object of desire’ a state of peaceful consciousness, or simply feeling good. Because if you manifest a good feeling, and continue to do so, eventually it will snowball into more and more good feelings until you can barely believe how good you feel.
