I'm Anatoliy Babin - Tech Mentor
Hi everyone! 👋 I’m Software developer with over 10 years in IT.
I love Startups, Frontend, education, and helping others grow.
My journey began as Engineer in new country at the age of 19 years in 2014. It was challenging and painful, but I hope my knowledge can help simplify the process and support people who are immigrating to new countries.
I worked in Yandex, X5, Alfa bank and startups
After immigrating to Canada 🇨🇦, I started working as a startup consultant, helping to assemble tech teams and contribute to coding in Calgary startup community.
A bit about me
I became VP of frontend department even before earning my B.Sc. degree
Over three years, my team and I have built and launched more than 10 projects, including a food delivery platform similar to Uber Eats in 2020 🚀
It was a significant success but also led to burnout 🧯. Since then, I’ve made it a rule to rest every Sunday and spend Saturdays meeting with friends.
I’m especially proud of the developers who grew from juniors to Tech Leads and seniors while working together on challenging tasks.
About me: I love Cycling, Playing tennis, Rhythmic games like Beat Saber and signing 🎶🚴♂️🎾
