I just pinned a post with Christines latest results check that out and lets all cheer Christine on
Christine Hobson is a marathon runner , but not just any marathon runner! She ran over 100 marathons in 8 years only starting her running hobby after she retired from teaching.
3 years ago at the tender age of 69 she became the oldest woman to complete the Ice Marathon in Antarctic. ( in -50 temperatures no less )
I have attached the YouTube video that was done at time speaking about her and her placement in the Book of World Records. Since then, she sustained an injury and has gone through the recovery process and has now set her sights on running in the North Pole Marathon at 73!
Comically, I write this as I sit on my comfy couch with my cozy slippers on and complaining about a little kink I have in my neck today, while there are individuals like Christine Hobson who are stepping out of their comfort zones, literally , always pushing the limits of their ability and inspire the world in doing so!
