My name is Dennis Fredrickson "Coach Fred". I am a High School Social Studies teacher in Central Idaho. Prior to teaching, I was a school administrator for over 12 years. I am thrilled to be teaching again in a top school district with high performing students. Here is a snapshot of my "Pain to Purpose" story!
After many decades of poor health habits that led to a reliance on prescriptions, booze, and horrible nutrition, I came to a crossroads - to focus on making a radical change in my lifestyle. Over the past 4 years, I no longer am reliant on heart and blood pressure meds - I've been sober since June 2022 - most importantly, I am very physically active and enjoy a whole-food centered, nutrient rich eating style.
My focus is to help educators to create their own "From Pain to Purpose" transition story:
