Investment write off?
Aloha my name is Pualani I am new to BNB. My husband and I are both W2-earners and looking for opportunities to offset our income and not pay taxes like we did in 2025. Question:
We have set up a LLC and are looking at investing in a property my daughter bought and will be putting up a house to resell. We are giving her $120K as a investor. Is there anyway to take this as a write off for taxes? We are also looking to purchase a STR as soon as we complete our pre-qualifications. We had committed to investing on the other property first. Hoping there is some way to benefit from it with our taxes.
