🌿 Body, Nutrition & Healing: An Amanah From Allah
Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh 🤍 In this space, we will talk about the body — not as a problem to fix,but as an amanah (trust) given to us by Allah. Allah reminds us: “And eat and drink, but do not be excessive. Indeed, He does not love those who commit excess.”(Qur’an 7:31) Nutrition is not just calories, weight, or trends. What we eat directly affects: - our hormones - inflammation and autoimmune conditions - fertility and menstrual health - energy, mood, and mental clarity - the way our body responds to stress and trauma The Prophet ﷺ said: “The son of Adam fills no vessel worse than his stomach.”(Tirmidhi) This teaches us balance, moderation, and awareness — not restriction or fear. 🌱 My path to this work I share this knowledge not only as a certified Personal Trainer and Nutritionist, but as a woman who lived it. For over 10 years, I lived with an autoimmune condition and thyroid disease, was on 9 hormonal tablets a day, and was told pregnancy might not be possible. Through Allah’s guidance, learning how the body truly works, changing what I ate, how much, when, supporting my body with the right nutrients, and reducing chronic inflammation and stress — Allah blessed me with healing and a completely natural, healthy pregnancy at 38. Not by force. Not by extremes. But by knowledge + consistency + tawakkul. “There is no disease that Allah has created, except that He also has created its treatment.”(Bukhari) 🌸 What you’ll learn in this category In this community space, I will share general education, such as: - How nutrition influences hormones and autoimmune conditions - Why deficiencies create symptoms long before diagnosis - How food affects the nervous system and emotional regulation - The link between gut health, inflammation, and mental health - Islamic principles of nourishment, balance, and care - This is not medical advice, and it is not about quick fixes. It is about understanding the body Allah gave you.
