Lesson 10- Finding YOU!
As a Metaphysician, I want to share a different Mind Set with you. Let’s begin gently. Take a slow breath in through your nose… and exhale through your mouth. Feel your shoulders soften. Imagine a warm, quiet sunrise spreading light across your chest—nothing to do, nowhere to go. Just arriving here. 🌅
Acknowledging where you are
When someone asks to reconnect with their authentic self, it often comes from a subtle feeling of disconnection—like parts of you have been shaped by expectations, noise, or the need to please. If that resonates, know this: nothing is broken. Your authentic self hasn’t gone anywhere. It’s simply been covered, not lost.
Gently exploring what may be happening
Drawing from John Bradshaw’s work, we often learn early to adapt in order to belong. Over time, those adaptations can feel like who we are. Eckhart Tolle reminds us that beneath roles, stories, and labels, there is a quiet aliveness—your true nature—waiting in stillness. Wayne Dyer would say: when you stop pulling other people’s strings, you feel your own inner guidance again.
So the question isn’t “Who should I be?” It’s “What feels true when I stop performing?”
A reflective insight
Your authentic self feels simple, calm, and honest. It doesn’t shout. It doesn’t force. It often shows up as a quiet “yes” or “no” in the body—ease or tightness, expansion or contraction. Authenticity is less about becoming and more about unlearning.
A gentle practice to reconnect (5 minutes)
  1. Hand to heart: Place one hand on your chest. Breathe slowly.
  2. Body listening: Ask silently, “What feels true for me right now? ”Don’t look for words—notice sensations.
  3. Name one truth: It might be small:
  4. Honor it softly: You don’t need to act on it yet—just acknowledge it.
You can also Journal this prompt tonight:
“When I’m not trying to be anything, I am…”
A small daily reminder
Once a day, pause and ask: “Is this choice moving me toward honesty or habit? ”No judgment—just awareness.
Take one more slow breath. Imagine gentle waves of light moving through you, washing away old expectations and returning you to yourself.
Closing Divinity Blessing:
May you remember the truth that lives quietly within you. May you trust the small, steady voice of your own knowing. Like the sun rising without effort, may your true self emerge naturally—warm, whole, and enough just as you are. 🌱
