Completed my first paid speaking gig today!
Everyone starts somewhere right? Well I wouldn’t have it any other way… not only did I get paid for the opportunity to speak (when I was willing to do it free of charge) it was also through my former employer who laid me off just over a year ago!
No prior speaking experience… no truly defined pitch or sales call. Just sheer determination, a relationship with the right person and the guts to ask and prepare for it!
Can’t wait to see what God does next!
