Sometimes the simplest path to revenue beats the fancy one
Just renewed my first lead gen client using the most basic setup imaginable and he's referring me to others.
Been reading Alex Hormozi's "The Money Models" and realized I was overcomplicating everything.
Instead of building complex automation funnels and fancy tech stacks, I just focused on one thing: crystal clear outcomes.
My entire "system"? ChatGPT and manual execution.
No expensive automation platforms. No complicated workflows. Just hyper-focused lead generation that delivers results he can actually see and measure.
Here's what I learned:
Clear outcomes > Cool technology Clients don't care about your tech stack. They care about their phone ringing with qualified prospects.
Simple systems scale easier When everything runs through ChatGPT and Scrapers, I can pivot fast and customize for each client without rebuilding entire automations.
Upsells become obvious Now that he's seen the results from basic execution, the automation upsell isn't a hard sell - it's a natural next step to handle more volume.
The Money Models taught me that sometimes the best business model isn't the most sophisticated one. It's the one that creates undeniable value first.
Build the foundation with clear outcomes. Add the fancy stuff later.
Revenue comes from results, not from having the shiniest tools.
