Is the best for me to work on dispute letters or consider the method below? Thank you in advance - Two Accounts, One Debt: Often, your credit report will show two listings for the same debt: the original creditor showing a "Charge-Off" with a $0 balance, and a new collection account showing the amount you currently owe. - Monthly Updates: The collection agency will likely continue to update the account status monthly to show that you are in a payment arrangement.
