Synergy Weekly Newsletter πŸ—žοΈ
Another big week across the Synergy community and it has been fantastic to see so many athletes showing up, executing and supporting each other.
Remember the Synergy equation:
Time Management Γ— Habit Formation = Consistency
Consistency is what turns training into results.
Athlete Results πŸ‘‡
Huge congratulations to our athletes who raced this weekend.
Damo took 1st in his Age Group at the Hills Sprint Aquabike with a strong and well executed race πŸ₯‡
Nell (Janelle) delivered a brilliant performance at Hell of the West 70.3, taking Australian Triathlon Age Group Bronze πŸ₯‰
Podiums are the outcome, but what we really celebrate is the weeks and months of consistency that lead to them. Well done team.
Cairns Build Updates πŸ‘‡
The Cairns athletes are continuing to build nicely.
Gaby has been absolutely dialled in with training while over in Mexico, embracing the Synergy mindset of Accept, Adjust and Adapt. Travelling, new environments and different routines can be challenging but she has handled it brilliantly and is looking strong heading into the next block.
As a community we also want to support Shelby, who is heading out to regional Queensland for work. New location, new job and maintaining a Cairns build is a big adjustment. Please jump into the chats and support her as much as possible. One of the strengths of this community is that no one trains alone.
Jessie is currently on annual leave and is about to have a massive 3 weeks of pro hours!! Haha be careful what you wish for, girl πŸ˜…
Ultraman Build πŸ‘‡
On the Ultraman side of things, training is continuing to progress well.
Tab has been incredibly dialled in and is looking strong and confident in the current phase of the build.
On a personal note, my travel nursing contract has officially finished and I will be returning to Brisbane this week, which means more stability in training and the chance to reconnect with many of you in person again.
Upcoming Events πŸ‘‡
Sunny Coast Simulation Day
For both Cairns athletes and Ultraman athletes, we will soon be organising a Simulation Training Day on the Sunshine Coast.
This will give everyone an opportunity to practise pacing, nutrition and race execution in a supportive environment. More details to come soon.
Hayley is also moving in the background for her Noosa Marathon block. I'm sure she will join us on the SC πŸ”₯πŸ‘
Synergy x Cupcake Apparel πŸ”₯
The Synergy apparel collaboration with Cupcake Apparel is now in production.
A huge thank you to everyone who supported the launch. I cannot wait to see the team racing in it this season.
Nutrition Tip of the Week 🌱
The Synergy Wellness Shot ✨
Many of you have asked about the Synergy Wellness Shot I have been making recently.
It is a simple blend of ginger, lemon, turmeric, black pepper, cayenne, olive oil and coconut water.
The goal is not magic or shortcuts. The ingredients are chosen to support inflammation control, digestion and immune resilience, which can be helpful during heavy training blocks.
Curcumin from turmeric combined with black pepper may support inflammatory regulation, while ginger has evidence supporting digestive comfort and recovery.
I usually take it first thing in the morning while the coffee is brewing.
Full explanation and the recipe are available inside the community.
Athlete Virtual Catch Ups πŸ’¬
Please vote in the poll regarding upcoming virtual athlete catch ups.
Remaining connected as a community matters. When race day arrives, it helps knowing the people around you understand the journey and are there to support you.
Train smart this week.
Show up for your habits.
Consistency always wins.
Erica.
