LIVE Q&A — Tuesday Night | Ironman Cairns Prep
2 months out and I know your brain is full of questions. So let's clear them. This Tuesday night I'm going live in the community for an open floor Q&A — and nothing is off limits. Nutrition meltdowns on the run? Ask it. Pacing strategy when the heat hits? Ask it. What to actually pack in your transition bags? Ask it. That one thing keeping you up at night? Especially ask it. To get the conversation started, answer one (or all) of these below 👇 What does your race-day nutrition plan look like right now, and where do you still have doubt? What's your plan for the the bike, and how confident are you in it? Is there anything in your kit you haven't tested properly that's still nagging at you? What part of race day are you most nervous about, and why? How are you feeling about your taper — trusting the process or fighting the urge to do more? Drop your answers below before Tuesday and I'll make sure we go deep on everything that comes up. Or bring your questions fresh on the night. Either way, show up. Nutrition plan- Slowly eat breakfast (english muffin, peanut butter/jam) plus coffee. Maurten bars on bike 40g an hour, Precision 15g in bottle 1x hour. Run is maurten gel 1x hour. Carry precision 15g in bottle. Doubt is ru, as I don t love gels, but Maurten seem to work. Most nervous about- the 40 min bus, this is new. Bike- Im feeling good on the bike lately, Watts are my best goal I think I worry about the run sometimes but, this is due to overheating (age:). Janelle Taper is always annoying! Trust is part of it.

2026 5km TT Challenge 🏃‍♀️🏆
Run a 5 km time trial on New Year’s Day. 🥳🏆🏃‍♀️ Parkrun is perfect! but any flat 5 km is fine. No race. No hype. Just an honest effort to set your baseline for the year ahead. This isn’t about being fast. It’s about knowing where you’re starting. I’ll be doing mine on New Year’s Day too. Post your time when you’re done. Anyone who completes the New Year’s Day 5 km and logs their time will go into a draw. I’ll randomly select one person to receive one month of structured run programming — FREE!!! December is expensive. This is about supporting people who show up. LFG 🔥
