My Origin Story: When the Superfriends First Assembled
Every great team has a moment when the story begins.
It’s the moment when people from completely different journeys—each carrying their own experiences, struggles, and calling—suddenly cross paths and realize they were never meant to walk alone.
In the movies, that’s the moment the heroes assemble. For the Superfriends, that moment didn’t happen on a movie screen. It happened during a prophetic conference.
But the truth is, the story started long before we ever met.
Because long before our paths crossed, God had already been moving behind the scenes—preparing each of us through different seasons of life.
For me, that preparation came during a pivotal time in my walk with God. I had grown weary. Not weary of God—but weary of the battles.
There had been illness, family challenges, and financial strain. Yet through it all, I remained committed to walking with integrity before the Lord. Even when things were difficult, I had made the decision that my relationship with God would remain steady.
During that season, I was introduced to the ministry of Prophet Joshua Giles. Listening to his messages felt like a cold drink of water on a hot day.
He was speaking directly to the things I had been thinking about and praying through—offering clarity, wisdom, and kingdom solutions that brought direction to what God was doing in my life. So when I heard about the Prophet’s House, I signed up.
It was during one of those gatherings that something significant happened.
Apostle Giles shared a prophecy about a coming move of God—one that would not necessarily look like the large movements people were used to seeing. Instead, he spoke about a remnant that God was raising up.
This move, he said, would happen differently. It would begin in small groups.
Groups that would form organically by the Spirit of God—people who would find one another and begin walking together in what God was doing.
As I listened, something in my spirit responded.
So after the session ended, I began searching through the chat room, looking to see if anyone else had heard the same call and was responding to it.
That’s when I found them. Tiffany and Judette.
They were already organizing a way for prophetic believers from the conference to stay connected and begin meeting together to walk out what had been spoken.
It was exactly the kind of response I had been looking for.
Soon a meeting was scheduled. At first, several people joined. There was excitement and curiosity about what might come from gathering together.
But as time passed, the group slowly became smaller. Some people became busy. Some drifted away. Others simply moved on. Until eventually, the group became three—Judette, Tiffany and me.
At first glance, it might have looked like the group had simply gotten smaller. But in reality, something else was happening. God was refining it.
What remained wasn’t just a casual meeting or a temporary gathering. It was something deeper. A friendship. A partnership. A covenant.
Each of us had arrived through different experiences—different seasons of life, different struggles, and different moments where God had been shaping our faith. Yet somehow, God had brought our paths together at the exact right time.
Scripture says,
“Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” — Ecclesiastes 4:12
And without planning it, that verse had quietly become our reality.
Three people. Three different journeys. But one shared commitment—to grow in God, sharpen one another, and walk faithfully in what He was doing.
What began as a simple connection after a prophetic conference slowly revealed itself to be something much greater.
We prayed together. Encouraged one another. We grew together in the prophetic. And stood with each other through life’s challenges. Over time, we began to realize something important.
What God had formed between the three of us wasn’t just for us.
There were others out there—believers who loved God but felt isolated in their faith journey. People who longed for authentic friendships rooted in prayer, accountability, and spiritual growth.
From that realization, a vision began to take shape.
A community where believers could gather. Grow together. Pray together. Sharpen one another. And build genuine, Spirit-led friendships.
In other words… Superfriends.
What began with three people responding to the voice of God has now grown into a community built on the belief that God still brings people together with purpose.
Because the truth is simple: No believer was meant to walk alone.
And sometimes the greatest things God builds begin exactly the same way—With people answering the same call. Everyone working in alignment with God creating a safe space where faith grows stronger, and friendships grow deeper. And discovering they were meant to walk it together.
Welcome to Superfriends.
