Build the comparison note before the bonus stack.
Bonuses can help, but they can also hide the real buying question.
Before you add the bonus stack, write a short comparison note that answers this:
"Why would this buyer choose this offer instead of the other two options they are probably considering?"
First action today:
1. Pick one offer you might promote.
2. Name two realistic alternatives the buyer might compare it against.
3. Write the difference in plain language.
4. Mark the offer as best for, not for, and inspect first.
5. Only then decide whether your bonus actually helps the decision.
Simple comparison table:
- Offer: what it is
- Alternative 1: what people may already be using
- Alternative 2: the cheaper, simpler, or more familiar option
- Best for: the buyer who gets the cleanest fit
- Not for: the buyer who should skip it
- Inspect first: the proof, demo, license, setup path, or support promise to check before buying
- Bonus fit: does my bonus remove a real obstacle or just add noise?
Example:
- AI video tool vs Canva templates vs hiring an editor
- PLR pack vs writing from scratch vs buying a course
- traffic training vs done-for-you leads vs improving the offer page first
- funnel template vs page builder vs hiring a designer
Useful prompt:
"Here is an affiliate offer and two alternatives my audience may compare it against. Write a plain comparison note with best for, not for, inspect first, and whether my bonus helps the buying decision. Do not add income claims, fake urgency, fake scarcity, or promises that are not visible on the offer page."
Then put the comparison note before the link.
The goal is not to make every offer look better.
The goal is to make the right buyer feel like you helped them choose, not just pushed another promo.
