Welcome, my name is Alex and I've been working as a Software Engineer in FAANG for the past 2 years after I graduated from Northeastern University.
When I was in university, I thought I knew exactly what I needed to do to secure internships and an entry-level job. And while I had the general right idea: to do projects and practice leetcode, I still could have been way more prepared when it came time to apply.
I was underprepared despite having the right roadmap because there's nuance in doing coding projects and studying for technical interviews effectively. If you don't know what or how to study, your efforts are inefficient.
I also just started late. You need quality internship experiences in college and securing these means preparing early.
After going through the struggle, I now know the hyper-efficient road map of exactly what I would have done differently in college to secure a high-paying software engineering job after graduation. This program is what I would do if I could go back.
