🎵 My Journey: Leaving the UN to Follow the Music of the Soul 🎵
To my friends and family—both old and new—some might call me a little crazy. 😅 In 2019, I left a very good job at the United Nations to follow my love for music and a dream to spread Peace and Love through it. I was incredibly excited to step into the unknown. I truly cannot express in words the hardships, the hurts, and the disappointments I have seen and experienced along the way. BUT, as I always say, God is so very generous. Because all of it led me to Truth, to God—my Eternal Beloved—and to the Real Treasures of Life. I cannot complain anymore. I still deeply love the music. I use quotes born from my perpetual Spiritual learning journey and overlay them on old videos of me playing, as you will see below. 🫠 I hope you enjoy the quote and the music. 🎵 What role does music play in your life? 🌞 One Humanity • Many Paths • Shared Light.

🌞 The Ever-Present Now 🌞
Life is in constant motion. Everything changes. Everything flows. Everything becomes. Perhaps this is why so many of humanity's wisdom traditions remind us of the importance of the present moment. ✨ The Sufis beautifully say: "The Sufi is the child of the present moment." ✨ Buddhism teaches mindfulness and full awareness of the here and now. ✨ The Stoics remind us that the present is the only place where we can act. Again and again, humanity's wisdom traditions point us toward the same profound truth: The past is memory. The future is possibility. But life itself is experienced only in the Eternal Now. Perhaps the greatest gift we can give ourselves and one another is our full presence in this very moment. As I contemplate this, I am reminded of a thought I recently wrote: "It matters not who you were in your last incarnation, nor who you were last year... nor last day... It matters who you are now, at this very moment... because this very moment is the sum of them all...
