It does not take much to see that there is significant opportunity for synergy within the LGBTQ Success Syndicate. In the coming weeks, I will be reaching out to members to discuss potential participation on the Board and various committees that will help make TheRainBowNavy project easier to manage and more effective in its mission. These boards and committees will assist me and TheRainBowNavy team in the respective areas of interest or influence. TheRainBowNavy is the integration of eight distinct business operations running concurrently on non-synchronized schedules. Some operate 24 hours a day, others approximately ten hours daily, and several outdoor components function only six to seven months out of the year. Michael and I are confident in our on-site operational management. Where we are seeking greater participation is in surveying the broader landscape of our community to identify individuals and organizations that would most benefit from educational support, as well as potential recipients for Business Grant/Partnership awards, medical assistance and legal support assistance . Because of our operational footprint, our perspective will naturally be more Asia-focused, particularly aligned with Manila. I want to be intentional about avoiding tunnel vision when determining where four to eight million dollars in annual aid is distributed. This is where broader community participation is essential, ensuring that outreach decisions reflect diverse regional, cultural, and lived experiences. Initially, these advisory and committee roles would be unpaid, as year one operations will involve minimal distributions. However, by years two or three, we expect to move toward underwriting stipends for service provided on behalf of TheRainBowNavy’s ESG outreach efforts. There are many initials represented within LGBTQIA2S, and in keeping with our broader mission, I would like to assemble an advisory board and committee structure that includes representation from across that spectrum. The goal is to ensure that we remain connected to each subset of our community and that our support is offered in ways that are respectful, informed, and aligned with the needs and values of those we aim to serve.
