An International Transfer Student is someone who has already started their undergraduate studies at a college or university (either in their home country or elsewhere) and wants to transfer to a U.S. college or university to continue and complete their bachelor's degree. This is different from a first-year (freshman) applicant who is applying after high school. As a transfer student, you're bringing college credits with you, and schools will evaluate both your high school AND college academic record.
Important: If you've completed any college or university coursework (such as HND) after your high school, most U.S. universities will require you to apply as a transfer student, not a freshman.
The Step-by-Step Process:
- First, you need to find schools that give full scholarships to international transfer students... I’ve made a list you can check here. I have also added a school list at the bottom of this post.
5. If you are admitted to these schools, they will cover your full scholarship package based on the financial information you provided on the CSS Profile.
Now for a B plan, check if you qualify for a loan to come study in the USA. To see if you are eligible, click on this link: https://app.mpowerfinancing.com/?ref_code=willizgc and fill out an application. This will allow you to get full funding to cover your studies in the USA. 🎓 School Lists:
