Some of you guys in here act like you need a PhD to eat chicken 😂
Here’s what I’ve learned after messing around with protein for over a decade... It’s way simpler than people make it:
👉🏽 Just hit your daily protein goal. Timing really doesn’t matter that much
👉🏽 About 1g per pound of bodyweight is solid
👉🏽 Whole foods beat protein shakes, but shakes help when you’re lazy or on the go
👉🏽 Keep your protein high even on rest days since your body’s still repairing
👉🏽 Meal prep once or twice a week or you’ll end up eating chips for dinner again (been there)
Once I stopped stressing about the perfect timing stuff and just focused on hitting my total protein, progress got way easier.
What about you guys? what’s the hardest part about hitting your protein goals?
For me it’s definitely getting tired of eating the same food every day. Hate that.
