Mentors
Most men try to win alone.
They grind in silence.
They carry the weight.
They refuse help because somewhere along the way they learned that “needing guidance” means weakness.
That’s a lie.
Every strong man you admire had mentors.
Not cheerleaders.
Not yes-men.
Men who called them higher.
Men who corrected them when they were drifting.
Men who saw potential before the man saw it in himself.
If you don’t have voices in your life that challenge your blind spots, sharpen your standards, and pull you back into alignment when you start slipping… you are leaving growth on the table.
And here’s the part most guys miss:
Mentorship is a gift.
Guidance is earned.
Wisdom is borrowed before it’s owned.
If someone has poured into you, coached you, challenged you, or walked with you through a hard season, don’t treat that lightly.
Honor it.
Apply it.
And pass it forward.
Strong men build in brotherhood.
Weak men isolate.
If you’re committed to building with the right men around you, drop a 🔥
And if you have a mentor who’s impacted your life, tag them or say their name.
This is some pics of a few of my Mentors. Evan and Ian Macklin and Andy Elliott. These dudes push me to become a better man in all areas of life. I owe a lot of who I am today to them.
Evan (tan shirt) wrote the forward for my book.
