Brick by Brick
Brick by Brick
Most men admire success.
But what we truly respect is the struggle.
We respect the man who stayed in the fight.
The man who worked his regular job and then came home to work on his dream.
The man who doubted himself but refused to quit.
The man who kept laying bricks when nobody was applauding.
This morning I was up before 3:30.
As I was putting on my shoes, I had a thought:
“Wouldn’t it be easier if I just won the lottery?”
And immediately another thought came:
Nobody who built anything meaningful had it easy.
Not the businesses we admire.
Not the families we admire.
Not the marriages we admire.
Not the men we admire.
They struggled.
They sacrificed.
They questioned themselves.
They faced rejection.
And they kept building.
Brick by brick.
Maybe that’s where you are right now.
Tired.
Working long days.
Wondering if all this effort is worth it.
Brother, don’t mistake difficulty for failure.
The grind doesn’t mean you’re losing.
It may mean you’re building something worth fighting for.
Keep laying bricks.
The wall isn’t finished.
And neither are you.
