Feedback Friday loading...
This is where scripts get sharper. Bring your scene, your act break, your logline, or that problem you've been circling for weeks. Live feedback from peers who understand what you're building. Not surface-level praise. Real notes that move your project forward. If you've never joined, today is your day. If you've been before, you know the value. Either way, show up ready. See you 2 hours.
Feedback Friday Starting Soon
It's that time again. Join us for Feedback Friday at 8PM EST. Bring (max 10 pages) and get feedback from your peers. Learn what's working, what needs improving, or gain a different perspective.

Getting the Right Feedback Matters
Feedback is essential—but getting it from the right people is just as essential. It’s not only about finding someone with experience. It’s about finding people who understand the story you’re trying to tell. That could mean someone who understands your genre, your tone, your world—or even your culture. Quick story: One of the first scripts I wrote was about black characters. I received notes from a very successful producer, but they didn’t understand that cultural context. The feedback I got on the dialogue didn’t align with the truth of the story. If I had taken those notes as they were, the characters would have lost their authenticity. That doesn’t mean people from different backgrounds can’t give valuable feedback; they absolutely can. But at the very least, you want feedback from people who understand and respect what you’re building. The goal is not to change your voice, but to strengthen it. If you want thoughtful, story-focused feedback, join the Writer’s Room. It’s a space to get insight, support, and notes that help you grow without losing your voice.

Idea -> Concept
I started the Idea to Concept course and did the first actionable step which was attached under the resource. I answered some questions that were presented before me to convert my idea into a full concept. I had written a draft of the first chapter of my story but this practice cleared my mind so much and I'm happy with this clarity. Thank-you
