🎯 Pose Strategy Basics
- Use layers/levels (standing, sitting, kneeling) to avoid everyone in one row
- Encourage interaction & movement — chasing, walking, hugging bring natural emotion
- Keep directions simple & playful (kids lose focus fast)
- Use props or context (blanket, picnic, swing, stairs, doorway)
- Alternate between posed and free play
Pose Ideas & Scripts
Family Tower / StackedMom & Dad stand or sit; kids stack (one on shoulders, one in arms). E.g. Dad holds the 2-year-old, Mom carries or supports the 4-year-old. Capture both close & wide.
Walk & ChatWalk toward (or away from) camera holding hands. Let kids talk, laugh, look around — catch candid moments.
Sitting TogetherOn blanket, steps, low wall — parents at ends, kids between. Mom leans in, Dad leans back, kids snuggle.
Piggyback / Back RideEach parent gives a piggyback (4-yr on one, 2-yr on the other). Swap or mix it up.
Huddle / Group HugBring everyone tight. Kids look at parents, parents at kids, or all at camera. Try overhead angle.
Kid Focus with Parent FrameKids interact (play, whisper); parents stand behind framing them (slight blur or edge focus).
Lift & SpinParents lift or spin kids (safely). Great for joyful expressions.

Tips While You Shoot
