ABOUT TOD HIPSHER:
I'm a retired LA County Fire Captain with 30 years of service. I was raised by a single mother as an only child. No advantages, No shortcuts. Just work ethic and determination. I know what it means to give everything to the job. I also know what it means to lose everything outside of it. After losing my job for a bookmaking plea agreement (which the judge allowed me to retire) I rebuilt my life from zero. Today I'm an actor, and someone who believes that service never really ends-it just changes form. I created Still Standing because when I retired nobody prepared me for what came next. I don't want that to be your experience. This isn't therapy. This is a private community of first responders and military who understand each other in ways civilians never will. I show up every week.
