My journey to heal
When I was a child, I found out at an early age how cruel people could be. So I built barriers around myself, didn't socialize with other kids, became a loner, because it was safer for me. I remember my mom telling me to get out of the house at a certain age, go make some friends, she said. My reply was I don't want to. People are mean. I rather stay in the house. She kicked me out anyways. Why am I sharing this? If it wasn't for mom pushing me out of my comfort zone I wouldn't be at this point of my life right now. Wouldn't have met my husband, had kids, grandkids and a whole lot of wonderful people along the way. Has there been bumps and bruises 😳 yes!! But I eventually healed, learned a few things that have gotten me to where I am today. I'm so thankful that my story didn't end with that little broken girl sheltering from the world. Good morning everyone!!! 🙏
