Important video just dropped in the classroom!
As a jazz musician, being able to subconsciously feel 4 of 4 subdivisions INDIVIDUALLY in different contexts is mandatory. In fact, this is true for most music. The 3:4 polyrhythm is extremely helpful when learning this foundation in rhythm. It teaches us the different ways 4 subdivisions are felt, in relation to 1. You can now access the 3:4 polyrhythm in the 1234 Rhythm course!

Name change and rhythm course!
After some thought, I realized the name "How to Solo" wasn't exactly what I was looking for. The word "solo" had a double meaning -- improvising music, and learning on your own. But this is a music community, and music should be a conversation shared with people of all origins. The name "Body Music Method" implies the simplicity/fundamental focus, without making the intention feel "solo." I also love the word "method" for this community. Using the body as the instrument to learn, is what will allow us to connect more deeply with the feeling behind these musical concepts. That being said, you can finally check out (most of) the "1 2 3 4 Rhythm" course! Much more coming soon...

Welcome to Body Music Method!
Because this group is so young, the "Classroom" and "Calendar" tabs are still being developed. — I’ll be working on those courses/events. However, we encourage you to make posts in the community using the categories! As early members, you’ve locked in your membership for free (permanently). That being said, invite your friends to do the same before more courses and a price is added! Please reach out via DM if you have suggestions for the community, or specific questions.
