Ways to Start Reversing the Fear of Speaking
This is going to be a quick but impactful message this evening. Take this and apply it immediately to speed up your speaking improvement journey.
  1. Write down the origin of your fear of public speaking: it started somewhere. You need to go back to that moment, write down what happened, and address it in real time.
  2. Write out what happens to you when you’re about to speak: what’s going on in your head, body, and emotions?
  3. Plan your first small group practice session: find 2-3 friends or family to present something you know really well. Keep it tight. This is to practice speaking in front of people.
  4. Use the 1-3-1 method to nail down your speech: Stay on topic, teach them something they didn’t know, and don’t over explain.
I went through the embarrassment and hardship so you didn’t have to. Steal my homework and go through the steps I used myself to fix my speaking issues.
Comment any quest you may have and I’ll answer what I can.
