Love or Just the Money?
I feel insanely blessed (and slightly shocked some days) that I actually f*cking love what I get to do for a living.
Now don’t get me wrong — love doesn’t make it easy.
Relationships, friendships, business — anything you care about deeply will crack you open at some point.
But that’s the price of passion. And it’s the fuel too.
🐾 I’m obsessed with the humans I get to work with — the epic souls who just want to be SEEN. Not as some polished, airbrushed, beige version of themselves, but as their real, messy, vibrant, alive AF selves.
🐾 I’m grateful AF for the ones who jump into my offers — not just because they “pay” (yeah, that’s f*cking awesome and keeps Nami in dog treats) — but because it means they hand me their wild dreams and say, “Help me make this real.” That trust?
That’s priceless ❤️
🐾 And yes, the money matters — but it’s not the heartbeat.
Here’s the question I saw the other day…
👉 “If you already had your millions, would you still do what you do?”
My answer? Frick YES.
Because this is me. It’s not a side hustle. It’s not a “until something better comes along.”
This is conversation. Connection. Community.
The juice that keeps me alive.
Would I add more dogs? Obvs 🙄
Maybe goats 🐐
Probably a sanctuary or 7 🙌
But the work? The conversations? The impact? That stays.
See, I’ve lost passion before.
Back in my dancing days, I thought it was gone forever.
Truth? It never left. It just got buried.
Buried under exhaustion, distractions, “shoulds,” and trying to live up to sh*t that wasn’t even mine.
That’s what happens when you don’t build from love.
You build from proving. From chasing. From needing to be something instead of feeling it.
And that’s why so many people are burning out, or giving up, or endlessly starting again.
Because if your ONLY driver is the money, what happens when the money dips?
What happens when the algorithm changes, when clients ghost, when your launch tanks?
Here’s the hard-ass truth:Money doesn’t love you back.
But passion will.
So when I ask you, “Do you love what you do?”I’m not talking Hallmark-card love ❣️
I’m talking the kind of love that survives the messy days.
The kind of love that lets you ugly-cry — like, red-puffy eyes, snot dripping down your chin, can’t-breathe kind of cry — on the bathroom floor and still show up tomorrow.
The kind of love that keeps whispering, this matters — even when no one’s clapping.
Because if it’s not that deep for you, if you don’t feel it in your veins, then honestly?
It’s gonna feel heavy as f*ck when things wobble.
Ask yourself (share too)
👉 Would you still do what you do if the money was already sorted?
👉 If the world wasn’t watching, if you weren’t counting likes or invoices, would you still wake up and choose this?
If yes — you’re rooted. You’re solid. You’ll last.
If no maybe that’s the nudge you needed.
To stop. Reroute. Reclaim your fricken spark.
Because passion doesn’t lie. It doesn’t vanish.
It waits for you to stop bullsh*tting yourself long enough to hear it.
