Yesterday was one of those days…
I woke up to discover I was completely locked out of my banking app and the website. No access to any of my money. My phone plan only includes local calls, so I couldn’t even phone the bank. And I only had a small amount of cash on hand. Instant panic. I cried, I shook, I couldn’t catch my breath for a minute. I ended up sitting on the floor trying to calm down. My dog, Loki, came and sat right against my leg like he knew I needed grounding. That helped me get my breathing under control long enough to make a plan. When the store opened, I went out to buy international calling minutes and grabbed some stress snacks (because sometimes that’s just how it goes 😅). I got home, called the bank, and thankfully, they unlocked my account pretty quickly. Then I tried reconnecting my bank account to Wise… and I got locked out again. This time I spent 45 minutes on hold, getting more frustrated by the minute. They eventually unlocked it again, and it’s still accessible for now — though I haven’t attempted reconnecting anything yet. I’m planning to pull out some cash in person first, just to feel safer. My emotions were all over the place the rest of the day. I needed a lot of grounding and cuddles with Loki. I’m sharing this because sometimes life throws us random, overwhelming moments, and we forget how human it is to react, panic, regroup, and keep going. If anyone else has had a chaotic moment lately — I see you. We get through it one step at a time. 💛
