I KNOW there are a lot of wins since we last met!! Here's a quick update:
- I changed my WHOLE Revenue Talk.
- My AHA was that the one piece that was holding me back was my STRONGEST.
- We can't keep getting ready to be ready.
I say this last one because I did a thing... I went to a conference yesterday just to see how they operate. I wanted to observe how the speakers performed and the audience they attracted.
Here is what I learned:
- The event planners are not polished.
- The speakers are not polished.
- There are potential clients EVERYWHERE.
A few networking conversations later... I walked away with 4 new clients AND I HAVEN'T EVEN BUILT THE WORKSHOP YET... The only person who knows it's not perfect is YOU.
The client doesn't know what you know. THAT is why YOU are the expert.. Have the structure, deliver it clearly and deliberately. Confidence closed the deal. I didn't sell them, they simply tapped into my passion and got swept up in my delivery.
At the end of the conversation... they asked "how can I work with you?" SOLD!!!
