I believe we have a responsibility to pass the baton of culture to the next generation, ensuring that our language, stories and traditions remain alive. Culture connects us to our roots, reminds us of who we are and gives our children a sense of identity and belonging.
For me, preserving our heritage means making it part of everyday life: speaking our language at home, sharing folktales, singing traditional songs and teaching children the meaning behind our customs. Through my music, chants and performances, I hope to create opportunities for younger generations to experience, appreciate and celebrate their heritage.
Our language and culture should grow with us and remain relevant in a changing world. When we share them with love, pride and intention, we give the next generation something valuable to carry forward. Preserving culture is a shared responsibility, and every story, word and song we pass on helps keep it alive.
