The core diagnostic work (This is already available as a stand-alone. I call it an 'Alignment Session' (my business is called the Aligned CFO.)
A "Full Circle" financial deep-dive — pulling apart their actual numbers, not just reviewing a P&L. A custom Profit First account structure built around their real percentages, not the generic template. A 12-month cash flow forecast with two branches: what growth actually costs, and what an exit actually requires. Pricing and margin analysis by service or product line. A KPI dashboard built specifically for their business, not a stock template with their logo slapped on. For the succession-track client: a plain-language "what is this business worth today" snapshot, and a buyer- or successor-readiness checklist.
Access and coaching
Weekly or biweekly 1:1 strategy calls where they bring real decisions and you model the numbers live. Voxer or text access between sessions for the "can I afford to hire this person" moments that can't wait for the next scheduled call. A monthly numbers-review working session. A quarterly deep-dive — basically a board meeting, except the board is you and them.
A VIP intensive
A single anchor day (virtual or in-person) where you map their next 12 months in one sitting — they walk out with an actual plan instead of a folder of homework. This could be the kickoff for the whole engagement: build the full financial picture first, then spend the rest of the engagement executing against it.
Tools they keep
The dashboard template, the Profit First account structure, a pricing calculator built for their industry, the cash flow forecast model — all theirs to keep and update themselves after the engagement ends. A simple "decision filter" worksheet for evaluating big spends or hires against actual cash position, so they're not calling you for every $3,000 decision two years from now.
Accountability structure
90-day milestones with real check-ins, not just a calendar reminder. A recurring "money date" ritual you help them build into their business rhythm. Between-session action items that actually get tracked instead of politely forgotten.
The parts that scale as your practice grows
A small private cohort of clients in similar transition points — growth-track and succession-track owners learning from each other's numbers (with permission), hot-seat style. A referral bench of vetted specialists you bring in for a session — an attorney for succession structuring, a banker for lending relationships, an M&A advisor for the exit-track clients. These don't have to exist on day one, but they're a natural Year 2 add for a premium tier.
The overdelivery and celebration layer
A "where you started vs. where you landed" recap at the end — a one-page before/after that makes the transformation visible, not just felt. An extended 30–60 day "on call" window after the engagement formally wraps, so the relationship doesn't have a hard cliff. For succession-track clients specifically, a facilitated conversation with family or co-owners — these get emotional fast, and having a neutral financial voice in the room is worth a lot. A small, genuine touch when they hit a real milestone (a handwritten note goes further than people expect from a CPA).
Visibility for them
An invitation for standout clients to tell their story — a guest spot on your newsletter, a LinkedIn feature, eventually a podcast if you build one. It's a small thing that costs you almost nothing and means a lot to a business owner who's used to being invisible in their own success story.
The Alignment Session is priced at $1,500 (I'm working on a Beta program at a discounted $995.)
The other items could be abbreviated at a 6 month engagement at $2,497 per month, or $13,500 up front.
Or a 12 month engagement at $1,997 per month, or $20,500 up front.
ETA - my goal is to add $100,000 to my annual revenue. I only need THREE 12 month folks, plus THREE 6 month folks to make that goal. Plus I could easily do 2 or 3 Alignment Sessions each month at $1,500 per - that would be an additional $45,000 per year. W00t!!
