Tool list
The jewelers tools can be neverending, we can continue adding as many tools as we can afford. For the basic jobs though. I can be adding as needed accordingly. As well as pictures. Don't forget that the safety equipment first, goggles, masks, proper ventilation, first aid kit, gloves, air filters, and fire extinguisher. A sink to wash face or rinse eyes is recommended.
  • Your Dremel flex shaft hand piece with chuck doesn't matter what brand, Foredom is the Mercedes for these. Vevor isn't bad but not as smooth, gets the job done. Also I hung mine up top on piping screwed onto bench from a plumbing store so the handpiece is at grabbing level while sitting.
  • Lighting is key I like using two lamps at different angles for light to reflect best off of the metal. Blue or white in color.
  • Rolling mill with both flat and square rollers, these can get expensive but a cheap one can work.
  • Bench and pin
  • I use propane and oxygen with hoses, torch piece, and regulators, there's mini versions that use disposable tanks
  • The propane and oxygen tank, there's small disposable ones

  • Cleaning solution, your choice, I use ammonia with small special lid container.
  • Steam cleaner of your choice, I use a small one
  • Saw frame of your choice with 3/0 and 4/0 size saws
  • Every kind of pliers you can think of, round nosed, square end and round, long ones, and any you see fit for yourself.
  • Mandrel is the metal ring sizing stick but the word is also used to describe a Dremel bit piece.
  • Tweezers
  • Solder shears
  • Solder pics
  • Soldering plate, some kits include this
  • Sanding discs and rollers 300 and 600 grit, 800 is nice too
  • Needle files of different grits
