Chef Harriott is a graduate of Horry-Georgetown Technical College, where she studied Culinary Arts and Business Management, achieving academic distinction with placement on both the Dean’s List and President’s List. She brings over two decades of experience across catering, food service operations, culinary entrepreneurship, and instructional leadership, supported by disciplined execution and operational consistency. In addition to her culinary practice, Chef Harriott facilitates farm-to-table culinary classes that emphasize seasonal ingredients, responsible sourcing, and scratch preparation, connecting technique with agricultural awareness and food education. She also provides small business consulting focused on food service operations, compliance, and sustainable business development. Chef Harriott operates under several entities, including JaiCaDa Enterprises LLC, JaiCaDa Transportation LLC, Margaret Latonya Harriott Corporation (MaLaHa Corp), and Go Get Your You Foundation, reflecting a multidisciplinary approach to culinary, educational, and community-based work. She holds a ServSafe Manager Certification and is a certified ServSafe Instructor and Proctor, enabling her to train and certify food service professionals in food safety and sanitation.
