I have a confession to make.
Things have changed for me since I competed the 90 day (mmm 18 month 😂) practice , which was toward the end of last year. I wondered how I could share the story with others, and keep working as a Psychologist?
I jumped into creating a course and came under the guidance of 'marketers' who told me I was too 'woo'. So I dropped the Eraser teaching from the story... to make myself more 'universally appealing'. However, it never quite happened. There was something in me that really couldn't bring into being.
And then this year happened.
Trauma came to my door more than once.
We started home renovations.
Had we had to travel for work for more than a month.
And all of this took me away from my own meditation practice. The one I'm trying to convice you - You need to try! 🤦♀️
What I was able to do however, was type the journal notes. This was actually a blessing as revisiting the journey, the insights, the experiences, the joy - and the Love, was definately healing.
Statements throughout like 'God feels it twice' and 'Higher Love is Soul's Vision' and 'The descent into matter is where all of this gets the opportutnity TO MATTER'... kept coming back, moving through me for a second pass, and bringing the flow of energy with it.
I can feel it again now - hence the focus here on journaling the experience. The paired movements.
For a while it felt enough.
Yesterday, however, I knew it was time to return.
And what I realised is the practice had changed the shape of me - energetically. Not that it was all good in there! There was no need for more emotional excavation in the Solar however, just more tending. Less 'what must I clear?' and more 'what is here now, and what wants to be nourished?'
When I entered into the Solar centre, it was dim. Previously I had seen myself toiling in a garden under the Light - the Sun (Son) in the sky - clearing bracken and thorns, and planting seeds of forgiveness, compassion, peace, acceptance... forgetting even. Over time the vision and the energy of the centre changed - and the flowers grew.
This time, it felt as if someone had walked away and forgotten to retun to tend the fire.
So I set about restoring the Light and the Energy of the centre.
It started to breathe again.
I sent loving energies to my adrenal glands - plumped them up with pure life force 🤗
A waterfall appeared and started to flow beautiful life giving water to the plants... and then
Grace appeared. Not as a concept that I had read about and contemplated.
Such as 'releasing and resolving Karmic energies will help to step off the wheel of Karma and enter into a 'state' of Grace'.
Grace appeared. In emodied form.
She smiled with absolute beauty and serenity.
With acceptance and acknowledgement.
With Love.
And then, as I watched - her form grew larger and she took up more and more space within the centre, before... leaving?
Of course, as we do these days - I googled Grace as embodied form straight after the experience! 😂
And this is what I learnt:
"The closest historical echo I found is in the medieval Pèlerinage de la vie humaine by Guillaume de Deguileville, God’s Grace is personified as a woman, “Grace Dieu,” described as a guiding, healing presence. She says she gives sight to the blind, strength to the weak, raises the fallen, and guides the pilgrim toward the heavenly Jerusalem.
There is also a strong Christian tradition of speaking about Grace as if she acts almost like a living agent. In The Imitation of Christ, Thomas à Kempis contrasts “Nature” and “Grace” as though they are two active presences moving through the person: Grace “walks in simplicity,” draws toward God, gives freely, and reforms the inner person. That is literary personification, but it is very embodied language.
Ruysbroeck takes it even further experientially. In The Adornment of the Spiritual Marriage, Grace is not merely an abstract theological status; it acts on the “lower powers” of the person and transforms the emotional life, including desire, reaction and suffering."
What resonates most for me are the statements that 'she is a guiding, healing presence... gives sight to the blind, strength to the weak, raises the fallen, and guides the pilgrim toward heaven' and even more evocative - she ''cts on the “lower powers” of the person and transforms the emotional life, including desire, reaction and suffering."
Booyah! Of course, then I had to bring Cayce into the equation 🤭
"the Cayce tradition makes a very explicit connection between forgiveness and grace. John Van Auken summarises it plainly: when anger, resentment, fear and the like are replaced with patience, faith, forgiveness, trust and harmony, “then we are living in the condition of grace.” He also cites Cayce reading 2800-2, where creative, uplifting use of the life force is described as living “in the spirit of grace"
Let's capitalise the name - as she is a living prescence.
Grace ✨🪽🌹
This morning, I tried to feel into it - and again the idea of attunement was presented.
And alchemy.
When Forgiveness and Love reach for each other and come together in the Solar centre - an alchemical reaction takes place that allows us to percieve the form of Grace.
Forgiveness opens into Grace... or
Forgiveness moves us from karma into Grace's serene and loving arms.
Below is an image of Grace - or at least the one that resonated with me the most. Not the costume or setting, but the scale and presence. She is seated, composed, larger than the pilgrim, and the whole scene makes her feel like the dominant field - which she absolutely was 🌹
