Week 2: Retraining my fascia
This week my body has been speaking LOUDLY through my hips. Especially my psoas and hip flexors.
At 7 months postpartum, this honestly makes so much sense.
The hips and pelvis are also energetically connected to the root and sacral chakras — the centers associated with safety, grounding, identity, creativity, intimacy, and emotional flow.
Pregnancy, birth, and postpartum healing can deeply affect these centers. Your body just experienced expansion, vulnerability, survival, transformation, and release. Sometimes the fascia holds onto that experience even after birth has passed.
The body remembers.
But it also heals. 🌿
