My name is spring. Hope the founder of embraced life, coaching and fitness. And one of the members here, founding members of soul fire sisterhood, elite, also founded a youth services, nonprofit called 2, which is the number two the next chapter.

But today, I wanted to talk with you about confidence confidence. How do we build confidence? Well the reality ISIS confidence is a trust that you have in yourself.

So some people are under the premise that you know oh well, once I have confidence, you know, then I'll go out and do this thing and I'll take on this endeavor and I'll chat and I'll take on this challenge. And I'll accomplish so much, and that's actually not true. Sorry to burst a rubble.

If that's your thoughts, but nope, it's not true. The way that you built confident is by being honest with yourself and keeping your promises to yourself and doing the things before you're ready to do them. And learning and growing and just getting better failure, or you know, they say there is no failure.

It's winning in lessons right? But part of that confidence-building is your ability to not succeed. You know, the first few times maybe, and then each time you make your attempt, you get a little bit better, you get a little better.

And your confidence in yourself grows, because you're continuing to keep your promises to yourself. Okay, another thing that I want to talk about with confidence too is never, ever allow somebody else's opinion or statement towards you. Impact your confidence level.

They do not have any power at all. To determine your value. Your confidence, anything about you unless you give them that power, so never allow them to do anything like that.
Speaker 1 (02:06)
I was speaking with somebody just a couple days ago, who somebody who they had thought of as a mentor and coach had told them That they didn't have belief in them and which is really kind of odd and strange and not right? Because as I'm entering coach, my job is to have that belief in you believe that you can change belief that you can become belief that you can grow because you can. And so for a mentor or a coach to tell somebody that they don't have belief in them that they, you know, don't have confidence in them.

So to speak in their abilities, and that's because that's what you're you know, if you can, if you can learn You can figure things out your confidence is going to grow. And for somebody else to come to you and say, hey, I don't think you can do that to kind of diminish your light or you know, dim your ambitions, it's just, they don't have the power to do that. Unless you give them that power.

So that is a choice that you have. But anyway, so that's just the message this morning, I hope that it serves you in some way things that you can do today, make a promise to yourself for something that's just a little bit outside of your comfort zone. So what are you going to do today?

That's just a little bit out of your comfort zone. Is there a conversation that you need to have? Is there an act that you need to do?

Is there something that needs to be done? Said, experienced outside of your normal comfort zone. Tell yourself today that you're going to do that.

And then actually do it. And these are the types of things that I will build your confidence you'll grow. You'll learn.

You'll become things will get. You know, easier in life as far as you'll become more resilient. Also, but to happy Thursday, January 29th. Whatever day that you listen to this, go out there and make your day. A great win.
