Day 4 โ€” Trusting Subtle Signals
As we slow down and notice more, something else often appears: signals that are quiet, easy to dismiss, or hard to explain. Todayโ€™s experiment is about trusting whatโ€™s subtle. At some point today, pause and notice: - Is there a quiet yes, no, or โ€œnot yetโ€ in my body? - Is there a sensation, mood, or pull that doesnโ€™t need words? - What happens if I let that signal be valid โ€” even without proof? You donโ€™t need to act on it. You donโ€™t need to understand it. Just acknowledge that itโ€™s there. Day 3 โ€” Interrupting the Override
By now, you may have noticed something โ€” or noticed how quickly you move past what you feel. Todayโ€™s experiment is about catching the override. At some point today, pause and notice: - When do I automatically push through? - Where do I ignore a subtle signal in order to โ€œkeep goingโ€? - What happens right before I override myself? You donโ€™t need to change anything. You donโ€™t need to stop or rest (unless you want to). Just notice the moment before the override kicks in. Day 2 โ€” Noticing Without Fixing
Yesterday gave us something real to work with. ANDโ€ฆYesterday I didnโ€™t post my planned videoโ€” and that turned out to be part of the experiment. Resistance and exhaustion are information, not failure. That moment where the body quietly says, โ€œNot today.โ€ For many of us, deconditioning starts right here โ€” not with action, but with noticing. Not fixing. Not pushing through. Not judging what shows up. Todayโ€™s experiment is simple: At some point today, pause for 30โ€“60 seconds and ask: - What is my body responding to right now? - Is it subtle? Quiet? Easy to dismiss? - Is there a yes, a no, or a โ€œnot yetโ€? You donโ€™t need to act on it. You donโ€™t need to understand it. Just notice. If you feel resistance, tiredness, or nothing at all โ€” that all counts. If you feel comfortable sharing, you can comment with: - one word - a short phrase - or simply โ€œnoticed.โ€ This is about rebuilding connection โ€” gently, honestly, and at your own pace.
