Hello family π
Happy Tuesday.
Hope you are having a great week so far.
I want to share a perspective that shifted my thinking profoundly.
It is one you can always come back to and find new realizations each time.
The deeper you go on this journey the more it will mean to you.
The concept might sound simple at first.
But the deeper you look the more it opens up. And honestly it can get a little unsettling.
Here it is.
Everything you do is survival.
Every thought. Every reaction. Every habit. Every relationship you hold onto. Every opinion you defend.
All of it is your mind trying to keep you as you are.
Not your body. Your identity.
The version of you that feels safe and familiar.
And here is where it gets interesting.
Your brain is not trying to make you happy.
It is trying to keep you the same.
Surviving the best way it knows how.
That is why change feels like a threat even when the change is good for you.
That is why you keep going back to old patterns even after you have clearly outgrown them.
That is why growth is uncomfortable.
Because a part of you has to die.
The old thoughts. The old habits. The people and environments you have known.
And most importantly the core beliefs and identity you have built your whole life around.
The people who truly transform are not the ones who add more to themselves.
They are the ones willing to release the old version of themselves completely.
Not tweak it. Not manage it. Release it.
The discomfort you feel when you try to change is not a sign to stop.
It is a sign that something real is happening. π₯
This is why real breakthroughs are so hard to reach.
Whether it is manifesting, a new career, a relationship, your health or any area of life where you want to grow.
Most people stop just before the shift happens.
Not because they lack the desire.
But because walking through the discomfort and the unfamiliar territory becomes too much and eventually overpowers their effort.
I share this not to overwhelm but to bring awareness.
Because the more this is on your radar the more you can recognize it when you are actually inside of it.
And that awareness alone changes everything.
The work can get intense.
But the more you lean into it the more life begins to flow.
Things that once felt like mountains slowly become manageable.
And I genuinely believe that once you start to conquer the mind everything else becomes less of a battle.
This is one of those concepts that when you truly sit with it will shift how you see yourself and your life entirely.
Something to reflect on this Tuesday.
Does this resonate with you?
Have you ever thought about life this way?
And let me know below if you would like to go deeper on topics like this. π
